Dr Claudia Hallett
I am a Chartered Doctor of Clinical Psychology from the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology. I currently work in the NHS and in private practice, working with adults. I am Chartered by the British Psychology Society (BPS) and registered with HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council), which upholds high standards in professional codes of practice, qualification and ongoing training.
I work with a wide range of psychological difficulties such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. I have a special interest in trauma responses such as depersonalisation and dissociation experiences. I also have a special interest in women in the perinatal period.
I can offer a tailored service which includes evidence-based therapies including: mindfulness, mindfulness based cognitive therapy, compassion focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, systemic therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy and schema therapy.
My specialism and further training are in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). I am an Accredited Member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
