Dr Charlotte Rhind
I am a Chartered Doctor of Clinical Psychology with extensive experience of working with low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, work-related stress, OCD, and self-harm. I have a specialist expertise in treating eating disorders and supporting those affected by eating disorder.
I completed my clinical doctorate and PhD at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience at King’s College London and I am licensed by the Health Care Professionals Council. I have worked in a range of NHS services for several years, including working in general Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and National and Specialist Child and Adolescent Eating Disorders Services. I am active in research and have published several papers in clinical journals.
In my private practice I see adult and adolescents and offer evidence-based therapies drawing on a range of cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), systemic, dialectical behavioural and mindfulness-based approaches. My clients describe me as a warm, kind, and thoughtful therapist who works collaboratively with clients in making sense of what’s going on and working towards personalised goals that feel meaningful. I offer sessions online and are happy to include close others, depending on what feels helpful.
I am registered with HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council), which upholds high standards in professional codes of practice, qualification and ongoing training.
