Dr Kelly Charge
I am a Chartered Doctor of Clinical Psychologist with specialist experience working with adolescents with a range of emotional and behavioural difficulties including depression, anxiety, anger and aggression, substances misuse, trauma and self-harm. I also have expertise in working with addictions in both adults and young people. I trained at the renowned Institute of Psychiatry. I have an interest in neurodevelopmental difficulties including Autism and ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder).
I work flexibly and can offer home visits. I offer tailored interventions which are research based and draw upon a range of approaches including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy and mindfulness. I work closely together with my clients and their families to help make sense of their difficulties and identify meaningful goals for therapy.
I am registered with HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council), which upholds high standards in professional codes of practice, qualification and ongoing training.
